DGS Stryker Brigade Addition

The Reading National Guard Unit transformed its mission to become a Stryker Brigade Combat Team Unit (SBCT) with two additions totaling 11,880 SF to the existing 24,060 SF building, and interior renovations. The project provided the SBCT with the ability to implement support and training missions with up-to-date facilities, equipment, and furnishings to support the Units’ full and part-time Army National Guard Personnel. Work areas included arms vaults, offices, classrooms, assembly hall, kitchen, vehicle maintenance areas, emergency system upgrades, and common area renovations and finishes. Site improvements included upgraded access roads, site protection measures, military equipment parking, and equipment fueling stations. The 35,940 SF facility is headquarters for Troop 2-104th Calvary SBCT and Stryker Brigade Combat Team Unit.
