Alcon Precision Device Facility Expansion

The project was a thrilling challenge to transform a 37,000 SF an iron and steel fabrication shop into a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for precision eye surgical instruments. The team was challenged with an aggressive schedule to meet the owner required completion date. From value engineering through monitoring of critical path schedules the team brought the project to a successful completion while managing several significant scope changes required during construction. This project received an Excellence in Construction Award from the Associated Builders and Contractors, Keystone Chapter.
